Decentralized Directorate of Culture of Junín

The Decentralized Cultural Department of Junín is an organ of the Ministry of Culture responsible for implementing the policies, technical guidelines and directives on culture, within the scope of their competence.

Office of Administration

Office of Administration is responsible for managing the financial resources and supply the DDC is responsible for procurement plan and monitors its implementation, operations, and is responsible for developing the Institutional Operating Plan (POI).

Office of Legal Advisory

This Office is responsible for issuing legal opinion and answer legal questions raised by the technical office of the Regional, answering inquiries and requests from users who have legal legal content and develop and endorse the resolutions issued by the DDC. Should intervene in the administrative and legal actions that require the involvement of a professional in law and represent the Directors prosecutors and judicial departments of Junin region.

Intangible Cultural Heritage Area

The area of ​​the Intangible Cultural Heritage line is the body responsible for promoting, protecting and ensuring the identification, documentation, research, preservation, protection and promotion of intangible cultural heritage in its various instances. Updated the record and study of the prevailing cultural events and organizing the general inventory of the same, promote research and study of cultural regional events looking for technical cooperation with other institutions, whether public or private

Archaeology Area

The Department of Archaeology is responsible for designing, proposing and implementing initiatives and actions aimed at the protection and responsible management of the archaeological heritage of the department of Junín. It also identifies, records, inventories of archaeological heritage purposes of declaration and definition, through the generation of cadastre and registration archaeological sites on public records.

Inspection and Control, Supervision and Recovery Area

This area is responsible for promoting the protection and defense of the cultural heritage of the nation, making the research and inspection if a crime occurred against property and apply the appropriate sanctions if necessary. Similarly, it is responsible for implementing security plans and defense of property or places recognized as assets in the event of natural disasters and armed conflict.

Idustries, Arts and Access to Culture Area

This area is responsible for the qualification of the non-sporting public cultural performances, to make the declaration of cultural interest as well as the nominal auspices. Similarly has been constantly supporting and coordinating the registration of Culture Points of associations, groups and cultural groups, which allows us to share our work with them and so to project to society.

Museum and Chattels Area

This Area is responsible for planning, organizing and supervising the investigation, preservation and dissemination of cultural property from museums belonging to the DDC, within its jurisdiction, promoting the participation of private institutions through strategic alliances.

Colonial and Republican Historical Heritage Area 

This Area is in charge of cultural heritage property, linked to collective memory, traditions and customs of the Junin region, dealing with identification, registration and study, and their preservation, conservation, enhancement and social use.
